Jason Davy, Chief Executive
With over 20 years experience in asbestos removal, Jason is managing director of Lexia Solutions Group, the holding company developed in 2004 by the Rhodar board, to manage the groups’ companies, Rhodar, Bagnall UK, Thermac and Novas. One of the leading figures within the asbestos industry, he is the former chairman of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) and is currently PR chairman for the Association. He has been instrumental in modernising safety standards and professional standing within the construction industry whilst developing all aspects of Lexia’s growth and success.
Richard Collins, Group Commercial Director
Richard was appointed to the Lexia Solutions Group Board as sales and marketing Director in 2006. Formerly VP Director of Sales with Transaction Network Services, Richard has over 15 years experience in strategic sales and marketing. Richard is responsible for the overall direction and control of the Lexia Group sales and marketing activities, the development of strategy and its implementation. Richard also takes an active part in driving and assisting the sales efforts and participates in the general corporate governance and control of the group.
Andrew Thornber, Managing Director Rhodar/Group Financial Director
Andrew joined the board of Lexia Solutions Group as Financial Director in 2004, having been appointed Financial Director for Rhodar in May 2003 and to the company's Managing Director in September 2008. An accountant with senior project and general management experience across a multinational business environment, Andrew was previously finance director of DAF Trucks in Poland for three years. Prior to this, he had been a project director for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, within a cost and financial management consultancy for Central and Eastern Europe. At Lexia, he has been instrumental in restructuring the group and acquiring subsidiaries, and has developed budget control and monitoring tools for the whole business.
Steve Watts, Consultancy Director
Steve has nearly 25 years experience in the asbestos industry. Initially, he held senior management positions for three of the industry's major asbestos removal companies before switching to consultancy in the early 1990's. Steve has been Managing Director of Blues Consultants Ltd for the last ten years prior to his appointment as MD of Life Environmental Services Ltd. He is currently a member of the ARCA Governing Council and takes over as Chairman in October 2007. Due to his experience on both sides of the industry, Steve's balanced views are respected throughout the industry.
John Purvis, Non Executive Director
John Purvis, former chief executive at White Young Green, has been appointed by Lexia Solutions Group as its first non-executive director.
The newly-created board position signals a commitment by the asbestos and environmental solutions specialist to strengthen its board, as it continues to diversify the business and deliver ambitious growth plans over the next three years.
Purvis stepped down as chief executive at WYG earlier this year, having overseen a decade of strong growth for the multi-disciplinary consultant, taking it from £21 million to £210 million turnover in ten years.
Neil Greenbank, Managing Director - Thermac (Hire) Ltd
Appointed to the board in October 2008, Neil has over 25 years experience in operational management supplying to the construction and allied industries. During that time he has worked with a number of market leading companies which specialised in PPE and construction consumables. After a short period in the packaging industry, Neil joined Thermac Hire in 2004 as Managing Director and has used his experience to grow the company significantly.
